Spanx vs. Aerie Leggings

We all know the holy grail of leggings are the Spanx faux leather leggings! They are seriously the best and I don’t know a single person who doesn’t own them. But lets be real here. There are some people who can’t afford them for whatever reason. That’s why I’m so grateful Aerie came out with their speckled leggings! I made a video below comparing the two for you so you can make up your own decision about which pair to get. Plus you can see them up close and how they fit.

In my opinion, there both great leggings. However, the Spanx leggings are a one of a kind and their hard to duplicate the aspect of “how they feel”. Aerie has done an awesome job at creating a more affordable pair of leggings like the Spanx but they don’t feel the same to me. Spanx’s leggings are more thick and suck you in more. Aerie’s are a thinner material and didn’t suck me in as much. This is just my personal and honest opinion.

However, I still love these Aerie leggings tho and own every color in the Play Real Me Leggings! So I’m keeping the Aerie speckled leggings to have as another pair because these kind of leggings literally go with everything!

I wear a large in both brands, although I could of done a medium in the Aerie ones for a more tighter feel.
