Gucci Dupe Purses
To buy the real Gucci purse or a dupe? That is the million dollar question, well at least the thousand dollar question because that’s an around about price for one of these purses! I’m a stay at home mom and you can bet your bottom dollar I don’t have that kind of money to spend on a purse, so the dupes are just fine to me but to others they couldn’t even fathom having a fake. That’s why I love doing these comparisons for you of the dupes and the real ones so you can see the differences your self and make your own decision of what you want to do. Even if I had the extra money laying around I just couldn’t find myself paying that kind of money for a purse.
SOHO SMALL LEATHER DISCO BAG
This dupe is what Gucci calls a “soho small leather disco bag”. It has the double G embroider into the side of the bag. It is a cross body with an adjustable strap. There are a few small differences in this purse but nothing substantial where people are going to notice. Only you will know the difference and that’s because I’m going to point them out to you so you can make the decision if this dupe is good enough for your liking. To me, it’s fabulous and I’m so glad I pulled the trigger on getting it!
I got this purse from a seller on Etsy and she is amazing at what she does! I’ll leave the link HERE for you if you want to snag one of these dupes! If you ever click on the link and a page pops up that says “uh oh, there was a problem” or “Darn, that item is no longer available”, don’t fret! That just means shes sold out. I got the color beige but it also comes in black, tan, and white. The color beige is not the exact color that the real Gucci is. The real purse is a “rose beige”, so the coloring is different. If you wanted the color to be exactly as the real one then go with black. The real Gucci purse like this one comes in rose beige, black, and red. But honestly I like the color of this one better because it goes with everything! I’m not much of a “rose” colored person but that’s just my personal preference.
The other difference I’ll point out is that the tassel connectors are not the same. On the real one the 3 rings that connect the tassel to the zipper are much smaller. The design that goes around the top of the tassel is pretty much the same with every other one being a little round stud and then a flat one. On the flat one it has like a side ways line going threw it and on the dupe it looks like a Philips screw driver head kinda like a “star” so to say.

GG MARMOUNT SMALL MATELASSE' SHOULDER BAG
This dupe Gucci purse I actually found on Amazon but when Amazon catches wind of these dupes being online, they take them down. So the sellers are constantly having to take them down and re-put them up with new wording, pictures, etc. So it’s hard for me to link one that will always be up for you guys. If you follow me on Instagram, I always share when she puts her new ones up for the most recent link or in my LTK.
The same seller on Etsy though, sells these same dupes as well! I’ll link this option HERE for you guys. And again, if you get a page that say’s “this item is no longer available” that just means shes restocking them & to keep checking back because she restocks them every 3-4 days. The details of this dupe from the real one isn’t much of a difference. It does close different from the real one. The real one is a clasp and the dupe is a button snap but nobody can see that so the only person that will know is you.
The gold is a little different of a color. On the real Gucci purse it’s more of a dark gold or bronze you could say and on the dupe it’s just kinda a gold, I guess not as dark but again that’s something only YOU are going to know the difference and some people say they can’t even really tell.
The bottom of the real Gucci purse goes out at the bottom creating a bigger bottom and on the dupe it’s straight so more of a rectangle. I outlined it in the picture below so you could see what I’m referring to.
It does have the same pockets in the inside as well as saying Gucci on the zippers and tag on the inside. All around it’s a great dupe and I love mine!
