Real~OR~Dupe
I have been asked this question more times than I can count. Should I get the real designer one or the dupe?
There are some who will never buy anything but the real thing and then there are some who only buy only dupes. So which one should you be buying? Well, lets be honest, every girl would love to have the real deal! But that’s not real life, at least not for the majority of us. I don’t believe anyone should go broke over trying to have a real Louis Vuitton purse or the newest Gucci belt. For me personally most dupes are just as good as the real thing, but you have to do your research to make sure that your getting the best quality dupe out there. You can’t go onto amazon and buy just any ol’ dupe you see. You have to read real people’s reviews, look closely at the pictures real people post with their review, ask questions, and don’t buy on impulse. I searched for a few months before I found a retailer that makes an LV dupe purse that is so dang close to being the real thing! The only difference from it being real are so minor, that most people won’t even notice! Those are the kind of dupes you want!
Another tip you can do, is do a google image search of the real item and compare it to the dupe you found. This way you can compare every little detail, because the real deal is in the details. It really comes down to personal preference of what you like and want. If there is something that you truly can’t get out of your head and have wanted for a very long time, then splurge on the item. But make sure its something that your going to keep for a very long time and take very good care of. I mean unless you have thousands of dollars to throw around, then this doesn’t apply to you. lol. Also, buy from retailers that are known if your buying the real deal. There are so many people out there selling their “designer” items on ebay or the facebook market place and some maybe scammers. So just be careful! Most of the items I own are dupes and they look just as good as the real deal. I do believe there are items that the real deal can’t even compare to a dupe, but again, it’s all about personal preference.
Every woman should treat herself here and there, so if you really want it and aren’t going to go broke over getting the real deal, then snag it boo! Designer brands have that high price tag for a reason! But even they have a sale once in a while! So if your going to get the real thing, then I would definitely wait for a sale! My Michael Kors bag I have, I got at Nordstrom Rack for literally more than 50% off! How? Because that’s what Nordstrom Rack does! They sell designer items at a huge discount!
I have been doing research for months on real vs. dupes and have found that you can find a dupe to just about anything! From designer purses, to clothes, to electronics, and these are just a few compared to how many dupes there are out there!
